10 Years

Happy anniversary to my husband of 10 years!

We've lived in 4 cities, 5 houses/apartments, have 2 dogs and 2 kids and lots of memories.  I love you very much and am excited to see what God has in store for the next 10.

Merry Christmas!

We stayed home again this year for Christmas.  Since Tim has to stay up at church most of the night on Christmas Eve, we started a new tradition of having lunch together at Shari's.  The kids and I love breakfast food and Tim likes lunch/dinner so it was a win-win for all.  After lunch, the kids and I headed home and Tim headed to church to get setup for the Christmas Eve services.  The kids and I went to the 5:30 service then headed home to get them to bed.

We all got up around 8 this morning, opened stockings, had breakfast, read the Christmas story, then opened gifts.  The kids are playing with their gifts, Tim's asleep on the couch and I'm well...here :), and drinking coffee of course!

Theo and Madelyn have been sick most of the week and now it's hit Tim and myself.  Hoping it gets better before we leave for our anniversary trip next week.  Even if it doesn't, we'll still go! :)  Just happy the kids are finally (I think) on the mend!

Tonight we're headed to Grandma Izzy and Grandpa Tom's house for Christmas dinner along with the rest of their family.  Should be a fun time with some yummy food!

Merry Christmas to all!

Edgewood Preschool Choir

This past Sunday the kids sang at church.  They were cute and funny :).  Tim videoed it.  He did it as a daddy...not a church staff member...so you'll pretty much only see our kids.

Dancing Fun!

Last week when I was at work, Tim and the kids made a dance video for me :)  Enjoy!

Christmas Card 2014

To those of you who haven't seen it, here's our Christmas card for this year :)  I had a lot of fun making it!  Our friend Nikos took some family pictures for us about a month ago.  Thanks Nikos (and family)!!

Madelyn's Dance Recital and Christmas Dessert

This past weekend was crazy busy!  We had our Christmas Dessert at our church Fri, Sat and Sun nights and also Madelyn's dance recital...and normal services on Sunday morning.

The dessert went great!  It was our first year doing it and we didn't know what to expect.  I really enjoyed sitting with the friends we invited and actually being able to chat with them during the program.  I was also able to serve food one night which was a lot of fun.  Thanks to those who came out!

Madelyn's dance recital was also on Saturday.  When I dropped her off with the chaperon, she wasn't so sure what to think.  She eventually calmed down and sat with the other girls.  Her routine was first.  Tim and I weren't sure what to expect...didn't know if she would actually dance.  But she did!  It was really cute.  We took video on the real camera.  Hopefully I'll get it on here eventually :).  For now...here are a few pictures I snapped before the camera batteries died (note to self - put extra batteries in the bag)

Mimi and Papa's Visit

Tim's parents (Mimi and Papa) came for a visit a couple weeks ago.  Papa had a conference in Seattle to attend most days, but was able to sneak out some and visit us.  Mimi was able to spend most of her time with us.  She also played her flute in the orchestra on Sunday morning.  I think she and Tim both enjoyed it.  She also had Madelyn "play" her flute.  We had a fun time of playing, putting up Christmas lights, shopping, going up to see the lights at Warm Beach and just hanging out.  Thanks for the visit!
